The Request

Amart needed high-quality 3D visuals to support the online launch of their new Sinatra Sofa. The assets would be featured directly on the product detail page (PDP) and had to capture both functionality and style across several configurations.

The scope included:

  • Multiple sofa variations with different fabrics (e.g., leather, textured materials) and seat configurations
  • Detailed product renders showing construction, USB ports and fabricsLifestyle visuals styled in Australian-inspired settings to support branding
  • Short animations to demonstrate each colorway in an engaging, interactive way

Initial references were limited to photos from a studio shoot, which served as our foundation for 3D development.

The Challenge

Two key factors made this project especially time-sensitive:

  • A highly condensed production timeline, with over 220 hours of modeling, texturing, rendering, and animation required in just a few weeks
  • Evolving inputs during production, particularly around internal product mechanisms and specifications, which required ongoing coordination and adaptability

Thanks to our agile workflow and seamless collaboration across teams, we delivered all assets on time, fully aligned with Amart’s launch schedule for the Sinatra Sofa.

Our Process

Reference Photos: Recliner and Sofa Open

Step 1: Brief and Evaluation

Our modeling, production, and packshot teams reviewed Amart’s reference materials and quickly assessed areas that needed clarification.

We sent a structured list of questions to ensure all product features — from USB port placements to seat depth — were captured correctly.

Step 2: AI Assisted Modeling

  • Detailed 3D Modeling: We recreated each sofa variation using the provided references and color swatches, carefully calibrating textures and colors to ensure consistency across the set.

  • Solving Lighting Inconsistencies: Our team normalized the lighting across all assets, so the final visuals felt cohesive and premium.

Animation & Scene Integration: We animated the internal mechanisms of the chairs smoothly, showcasing functionality without sacrificing aesthetics. To ground the animation in realism, we composited it into a custom lifestyle scene Rendero previously created for Amart.

Step 3: Content Production

Sinatra Sofa: 24 packshot renders (8 angles, 2 sofa variations)

Results

  • Ready-to-Use PDP Assets: All visuals—static and animated—are now live on Amart’s website.

  • Enhanced Product Communication: The animation clearly demonstrates product functionality, helping customers make informed buying decisions.

High-End Feel, Zero Photography: No need for physical sets or product photography—everything was done digitally and delivered with precision.
